MARIA SHARAPOVA reached her first final in seven months with a 3-6 6-0 6-2 victory over Andrea Petkovic at the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami.
After dropping the opening set, it turned into a one-sided affair with the Russian showing the kind of form that once made her world No.1.
Sharapova, who is ranked world No.13, is now sure of a place in the top 10 next week.
