Sinfield hopes for home comfort

Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield is hoping the Rhinos can once more turn Headingley into a fortress, starting with the visit of reigning Engage Super League champions Wigan on Friday night.

Sinfield's men have experienced a topsy-turvy start to the season, with three of their four wins coming away from Headingley, where they have won just once in three fixtures.

"It's a big challenge for us," he said. "Our home form hasn't been great as yet and we need to put in a performance."

He added: "We've had a mixed first two months. There are good signs on the training field but we need to be better than we are at the minute.

"We've had some frustrations with some of our performances but, once we fix those errors, I'm sure we'll be pushing for honours."

Hull KR coach Justin Morgan also believes his side are better than the League table suggests after winning just one of their last six matches but he knows there will be no let-up when he takes his side to St Helens.

"Saints are a good side," he said. "They have a good, mobile pack and their young halves are going well. They're going to be a handful, there's no doubt. We continue to make some improvement and we'll be doubly desperate to get the two points. We're not too far away."

Hull FC coach Richard Agar is looking for his side to atone for their shock home defeat by Wakefield when high-flying Castleford visit the KC Stadium.

Although the Black and Whites returned to winning ways with a dramatic 40-30 victory at Harlequins last Sunday, Agar admits they have yet to erase the memory of their 20-6 home defeat by the Wildcats.

"Our last home game was particularly damaging for us, as a team, as an organisation and for some of us as individuals," he said. "We've got to put that right and it will probably take more than this game to do it.
